Once you arrive, you may never want to leave. But if you do venture out, you're perfectly placed, just 9 minutes to the acclaimed Cupitt's Winery, 10 minutes to the golden shores of Mollymook Beach, and a leisurely 1km stroll to the heart of Ulladulla.
Back home, nature puts on a show that rivals them all. Racecourse Beach is a sanctuary for wildlife lovers, endangered shorebirds nest quietly in the protected dunes, and on any given morning, pods of dolphins cruise effortlessly along the coastline, a reminder that at Chante Mer, this is simply everyday life.

Laura and Matty
Chante Mer holds a beautiful place in the history of Ulladulla, a well-loved home that has long captured the hearts of those who know this stretch of coastline. We discovered this remarkable mid-century masterpiece in 2024 and, although she was in need of some serious love, we saw exactly what she could become. And so began a year-long renovation dedicated to restoring Chante Mer to the luxury home she was always meant to be.
Our vision was simple, we wanted guests to walk through the door and instantly exhale. That deep, shoulders-drop feeling you only get when you're truly on holiday. A sanctuary from the outside noise. From the sweeping ocean views to the warm tones, textural finishes and original artworks, every corner of Chante Mer has been considered with care. She is as much a work of art as she is a home, and every room is filled with character, warmth and love.
It is our absolute pleasure to share our families little slice of paradise with you.

Upstairs Main Bedroom - Queen bed, walk in wardrobe, his and hers double walk in rain shower
Downstairs Main bedroom - Queen bed, adjoining bathroom. This is a very large room and perfect for couples with small children, additional trundles can be provided if required.
Upstairs bedroom (kids room) - 2 x standard single beds. Built in wardrobes. Juliette balcony.
Fourth bedroom - 1 x double bed. Built in wardrobe.

Yes. Sandy feet welcome. It’s a premium home, so we ask that everyone (big and small) treats it with care - but it was designed for real life, not a museum.

Yes. Properly on the beach. You can hear the waves, see the ocean and be on the sand in a minute or two.

Yes - two dedicated spots in the driveway, plus plenty of easy street parking. The lock-up garage isn’t available to guests, but you won’t be circling the block looking for a space.

Not at this stage. We love dogs - but we love keeping the house pristine for every guest even more.

Check-in from 2pm Check-out by 10am We run on a tight cleaning schedule to keep standards high, so times are firm unless arranged in advance.

Yes - 2 nights, however it varies by season, with longer minimums over peak periods and public holidays.

Small, intimate moments with your booked guests - absolutely. Large parties or events - no. We respect our neighbours and the peaceful setting.
